Original Benchseat Covers

Seat Covers only. They will include the seatbelt garnishes, I took the off the cover for cleaning.

Maroon/Burgundy Vinyl 8-87 Chevy or GMC $50 plus shipping
Mahogany Velour/Vinyl 81-87 Chevy or GMC $75 plus shipping sold

Both covers are off of seats that I’m restoring. They are both in very good condition, so I can’t see throwing them away. I figured someone could use them. I have cleaned them with a steam extractor. A few very minor tears, but not on the seating area of the covers.

Re: Original Benchseat Covers

Something tells me I'm really going to regret not buying the Mahogany Velour/Vinyl 81-87 Chevy or GMC $75 plus shipping.

My whole seat in the 1981 I own needs rebuilding. Putting a nice cover on it would be like painting the ceiling of a house with a leaking roof.

Well I can do that too. I rebuild/restore seats. Here's a Mahogany Tweed that I did for someone in Texas. It got a new foam and restored frame & tracks. It remains to be one of my favorites.

Hmmm, I still need my seat done. Should I send you a private message?

Sorry for the mis-gendering. I should have known better. You don't communicate like the normal garage-cave inhabitants I usually find in technology forums.

What part of Ohio are you near, and do you know if shipping by train is an option?

I don't know what ttt means, but I see the message has been deleted.

It’s no problem, I like to consider myself “one of the guys”. I have more fun doing guy things, than girl things lol!!
I am 45 mins NW of Columbus. In a few months, I’ll be retiring and spending more time on the seat restorations. We can retire at the age of 55, plus I’ll have 30 yrs in. I work at an auto factory. So I’ve been around cars my entire life. My Dad worked for GM, 30 yrs also. So with more time, there is always meeting for a seat. But if I do ship, I like using Fedex for shipping, because they fully insure the cost of the seat. The pic is what the seat would look like packed up for shipping.
And “ttt” means “to the top”. It’s just a way of bumping the post to the top of the list.

Re: Original Benchseat Covers

This might turn into a chapter of the C-10 book of restoration I seem to be writing.

Re: Original Benchseat Covers

Thinking about it, I would probably need mesh for the pour-through feature, coupled with brown to hide the coffee stains. Can you make any suggestions?
