Re: Wtd Emergency Brake Lever

I'm not finding one for sale but A number of Chevys (cars and trucks) use 11 inch brake shoes on the back for years and I'd have want to believe that the lever was the same on any with 11 inch brakes.

that might take carrying your sample to the local pick your own part yard and start checking.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Try a NAPA store, you can probably get a new one although it will cost more than at the pull-a-part.

These yards around me wouldnt waste there time pulling out a small item like this. Its not like the old days and they wouldnt let anyone walk around there yards. I wish it were like that here.

I totally agree. I am very small . Less than a hundred trucks. However both my accountant and my attorney in rather firm words told not to let anyone take off parts , let alone browse. They stated that if anything happened , even the if the customer tripped over their own sues laces I could lose everything. I knew a big old time salvage yard about 20 years ago. He did not insure his buildings so he could take that money and buy a huge insurance policy to cover customer liability . I think he told me it was a little over $6000 a year. And that was 20 years ago. Too many ambulance chasing attorneys.

Anyway. Sorry to get off subject . I just sold a pair of the last month to a customer in New York. I jacked up 5 different trucks to get the pair. They were $75 for the pair. I gave him the parts and basically charged for labor. I probably can get you a pair but right now we are -7 degrees and do not think I get my trucks up . Maybe in a few weeks. Everything pretty much stuck down. Hopefully someone on the board can help you out. Every truck had them but many were taken out when brake cables stuck or in that quick brake job . Good luck.
