K10 Rear Drive shaft Question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have the rear driveshaft that has the smaller end that adjust in and out like the front, but does it mount like the front with the smaller end at the diff or the smaller end at the Transfer case.
I removed it long ago and forgot which side went where.

The end of the drive line with the small end should be forward.
2wd photo but the idea is the same.

My K20 has the spline toward the transfer case
At least that how it came to me
Someone please chim in if thats incorrect

Edit I do not have a carrier bearing
Just 1 shaft

Thanks for the help I will put the small end with splines toward the T-case.

Yep, slip joint on the transfer case.
