L83 start and stall

so I recently got my truck back from the shop for the l83 swap everything seems to work fine but if I shut it off for 5 min after driving for a bit it will have a hard time starting, when it does start it stalls. If I leave it for 1/2 hour or so it will start fine. any ideas?

Re: L83 start and stall

90 percent chance it is fuel related. Could be vapor lock if the fuel line is by the header. Also if the regulator is failing it can cause weird issues.
