Guys w/ 4" lift, Can you measure from hub to fender?
So I bought a 72 Blazer with the lift already installed on her.
I'm trying to finish it out but and I can't figure out if I have a 6" or 4" lift. It sits on 35" BFG AT which only measure 33 3/4". It doesn't ride that great and seems to be pretty bouncy at times so I'm afraid I have a 6" lift. Can anyone with a true 4" lift measure from center of your hub to the center of the bottom fender? If you don't mind to include the brand of lift you have and size of tire. I measured right at 28 1/4" with my lift from hub to fender. |

I don't have a 4" lift, but using the measurements from this thread...

I have 4" Ranchos on my Jimmy as well. They are 35 years old and measure 26 1/2" as well as close as I can tell. With width of tire can't put the tape right against the fender.

Springs have a big factor on ride quality. The more leafs typically the less ridged they are. These trucks ride pretty bouncy anyway. Mine was bouncy with old wore out original springs.
