Dash/gauge options - Dakota digital the best?
Hey all
I’m onto the rewiring portion of my build and I need to replace the instrument clues/dash gauges. Not a lot works in the original and a previous owner has installed cheap external oil and water gauges. The plastic lenses are also cracked. So it seems my best option is to either replace each gauge or get a whole new set of gauges. What’s the easiest and quickest option? I’ve looked at Dakota digital and they look great but are expensive. Is there a good cheaper option? Thanks |

Re: Dash/gauge options - Dakota digital the best?
Have had the Dakota Digital VHX gauges now for 2 years and am quite happy with them.
I had originally planned on going the Auto Meter route, but, by the time all the individual gauges and everything needed to make them fit, it would have cost similar to what the Dakota Digital ones cost and it was a lot less headache trying to make everything fit. There are guys on here who have gone different routes, If you search Greski's Restoring Rusty thread, you can see one example |
