1st gen Blazer slide in "4wd Campers" on the East Coast
I've asked before but never had any bites. Is there anyone on the east coast with one of the 4wd Camper slide in units for a 1st gen Blazer? I'd love to restore one and use it on my 2wd.
Im looking for one for sale. I'd consider a midwest one but I am afraid it wouldnt safely make the trip across the country.

I bought one in Ohio and built a stand for it to put it on my flat trailer. It was a little nerve racking but made the nine hour trip back to New Jersey.

Re: 1st gen Blazer slide in "4wd Campers" on the East Coast
You may need to buy one (and the truck out of Colorado) to get it moved East.
The one above came from outside Denver and was on a daily driver 71 4x4 Blazer that I picked up. I didn't plan on using it so it went up on the forum for sale. 72gmguy made the haul to Columbus and we loaded it up for transport after I removed it. It was on my garage lift for a week without any issues before finding its home on that trailer. I'm glad there was a better mind in the group that said we should just remove the trailer from the truck and move the trailer by hand into the garage to get it lined up for loading the camper. Thanks to that young lady! Sounds like it is going in/on his newest blazer project. Can't wait to see it come together! I picked up a double wall top locally from another member to be protected from the elements. Last edited by lks dcvn; 05-24-2019 at 05:45 PM. |
