New Project - 1972 c10 4x4
Hello everyone!
New project! we just had delivered a new project for me to play with. I've never put back together a C10 this torn down. I'm a little intimidated. Anyway, I thoght id start with the steering and then the brakes. any other suggestions on what to do first? |

Nice project, hope you got the rest of the goodies to go with it.....Better than a C10....that's a K10....if its an original 4x4....brakes and steering are a good place to begin...Post more photo's, looks solid and rust free.

Looks like a lot of work has already been done. What's the back story on it?

Re: New Project - 1972 K10 4x4
So the truck was torn down this far to do a paint job... The owner ran out of money and the painter ran out of time. I have 1970 c10 4x2 and the front suspension is WAY different. This one looks simpler. I've never done a K10 much less one that is torn apart. What i need is pics of completed K10 steering and suspension. Any ideas as to where to get some? Maybe members of this forum can chime in and post some pics of their stock K10s to help?

I assume like for my Corvette, that there are factory assembly manuals available, that's where you need to start, by getting one of those. I've seen them referred to as AIM (assembly instruction manual). It told the line workers how things went together, and the one I have for my Vette, I use all the time.
