Dually Wheels (Picture Inside)

When I bought Dixie, I was not crazy about her wheels, however I knew the tires would need to be replaced within the year and it would be something I could address when that time came.

Well I am finally at that point where I would like to put new wheels and tires on Dixie and came across a picture today that it the exact direction I am looking to take the truck.

This is my first 4x4 dually so I apologize for the newbie questions. I believe those wheels are stock 16-inch 8x6.5 steel dually rims? If so, can I purchase these new or will I need to source some used? Thank you.

There was one website called Car ID that sold refurbished OEM wheels for half-tons. I'd look and see if they have them for one-tons too.

That's a great looking dually! Do you know the tire size? Looks like 11.00r16 to me.

I would think you would be able to find a new set of these easy enough. A company called Accuride also makes nice steel drw wheels.

It is a great looking truck, unfortunately I cannot find out who the owner is so I do not know the tire size. Funny you say that about Accuride, I just came across their website last night so I will be calling them this week.

I see no reason why you can't find any new or used. They look like normal dually wheels like what's on my 78 right now.

Thanks Nate, I agree. I will end up going with a new set from Accuride in the end I decided.
