Brake conversion line adapter

Hello,
Does anybody have a good solution to connect the rear (drum) brake line to the new proportioning valve? I believe the fitting is 9/16-18 inverted flare, and it comes in vertical when the new proportioning valve is horizontal. I was no ping to find a 90 degree elbow but can’t locate one.
Thanks for the input.

The only thing I could say is anytime I have a problem with getting the proper fitting or line, weather it be Brake, fuel or any type of line that holds pressure like A/C ,I go to my local Hydraulic shop most of these shops will have what you need and or make. plus they are certified so you know the job is done rite.

I actually am doing this same conversion today. I wasn't aware of the different fitting until last night. My local napa has the fitting, I'm picking it up when they open. I've decided running a new brake line is the easiest most sano option.

You didn't say what year/model you're working on. Nothing about specific about what you're working on or with. pics and more information would help..

My '71 came factory equipped with non-power disc/drum brakes.. I installed the small diameter booster power brake conversion kit that is offered through Summit.. It came with booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve, and all mounting brackets including new pushrod for the pedal.. I used existing brake lines and fittings.. Everything just "bolted up", no additional adaptor purchases needed..

I have a 69 burb. Thought it was in my signature. Yours bolted up because I believe the 71+ have the rear drum line coming in horizontal from the rear of the por-valve.

I decided to make a short line that will transition between the rear valve outlet and rear line. An elbow 9/16-18 with inverted flares would have been perfect but couldn’t find one on all the interwebs.

Re: Brake conversion line adapter

A while back,I reworked the brake lines on my 65 Impala
I installed new brakes lines all over and converted it to a dual master.
I bought most of my parts from In-Line Tube.
When I needed additional fittings, they had everything I needed. They have a fellow you call and actually talk to,who is very helpful and patient.
Not advertising for them, just giving a source for parts.
Mike.
