New Guy in NC

Good morning,

I was looking for a dump trailer on Craigslist and stumbled across this beauty. Its a '48 Ton and a Half, long wheelbase, with a dump bed. The dump works great, the truck has all the usual issues, but is very original. I drove it home about 60 miles, which was interesting to say the least.

I will be looking to keep it as original looking/ functioning as possible, but I can definitely see power brakes in the near future.

Yep you'll probably want power steering as well! Good luck!

Thanks! It doesn't seem like there are a lot of the heavy suspension trucks out there, Im amazed at how many people are interested in it. I took a full load of manure to a buddy's garden today for compost. Its nice to see it earn its keep. The tag on the door says it has an 11,000 lb GVW, lol:

Re: New Guy in NC

Yeah I’ve been to the cruise in a few times, though not with the truck. I actually live over in Advance, so we are neighbors. I’ll keep an eye out for your truck around town. That thing is sweet
