I built a LS3 with a 416 stroker kit for my 67 c10. I have adapter plates from dirty dingo to mount to the block. what I am looking for is stronger perches that mount to my frame to accommodate the extra power. (a lot extra) I found the tubular mounts from performance online, which are the ones I really like, but it appeared the frame where the top mounts is narrower than mine. is there a tubular mount that i'm not seeing for the 67 thicker frame?

I'm not really sure what you're asking/describing when you say thicker frame. Do you have photos?

if u notice at the top of the mount in the pic where its installed the top of frame rail is thinner than the bottom. mine doesn't narrow like that

Trim your frame rail, the later trucks came that way for the BBC. Or so I’ve heard.

Just trim the top flange of your frame similar to that pic you posted and you will be good.

So I got my mounts in. The Andrés were longer than in the pic. No trimming needed. I guess maybe they make one for a 67 and they just don’t have a pic of it on the site

When I purchased mine I had the same question. Luckily I dropped by POL store in Corona and they said they trimmed the top frame rail. Now you would think that would be information they would impart on a buyer or potential buyer and I mentioned that. They are nice though. I fit the engine into the frame and body before it went to paint. I do like them.

When I got them in my hand I was pleased. The weight of them feels like a sturdy product. And the powder coat on them seems to be good quality as well. Hopefully the fitment is as good as they look and feel
