Best place to get Manual Steering Box for 1966
Lots of play in the steering and no end cap on gear box upon inspection, can see bearings as I look in end
Best replacement at a descent price? |

Check out Redhead steering .https://redheadsteeringgears.com/ I put one of their manual boxes on my '64 and wow!.... I had never driven a manual box with zero play before and the difference is striking. Are they a bit pricier than your average mass production job? Sure, but lets face it that extra $ goes a long way towards improving the driving experience.

What did you have to give for one, I like the idea of a faster ratio box?

Can't remember the price, but my manual box is not faster ratio. It's zero freeplay (aka slop).
