Hood lock - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm wondering if anyone has installed one of these locking hood latches with a kill switch? Not clear to me how it fits, seems they have one size fits all in terms of brackets. Planning on letting my grandson drive the truck for his senior year, but will be parking it on the street.
