Lowered with wide wheels up front?
Hi guys, Just looking for some pics or info on how low you can go using wide tires up front while keeping the stock outer fender. I have plans of fitting some major rubber up front on my truck and want to get the CG as low as possible. The tires im planning for are 27" tall. I think the wheel arches are only 20" or so. All else can/will be modified but I dont want to touch the outer fender unless I have to. I might move the wheel arches up 1" or so but no flares. So let me know what you got and lets see some pics please.
Thanks. CoryM

About 2.5" wider actually . Although fortunatly it is 5" shorter than your wheels. I am planning this truck to corner as well as anything streetlegal. Having said that Im not using DOT tires How low can you have that truck and not rub around corners (i assume its bagged)? I am seriously considering moving the wheel arches up 1" to help clear. HAve to decide how that will look though.
Thanks for the input. CoryM

I have to have it ALL the way up. 2.5 inches wider is def. not gonna fit under the stock sheetmetal. I personally dont think a higher arch is gonna look good, since the front is already higher than the back arch.
