I need to replace the rear brake line on a 1971 K20. If I can find one longer than original would be ideal, the pickup has a 4” lift & the original line is tight and looks like the full 49 years of ware. The original line has a junction block that is fixed to the rubber line. I do not see the junction block in the parts photo’s of misc suppliers. The original line is 18” in length, 24” in length looks to be perfect for this lift kit.

Any suggestions ?

That’s a stock part. I just replaced mine. They have lines that are longer. Check out rock auto.

The link I posted is an extended rear line for trucks with a 2-6" lift. Also if you have a hydraulic supply house near by most of them can make brake lines, you can give them the specs and they should be able to crimp you one up, although I've always found it cheaper to just order one from russel, or rough country, etc.

This is interesting. Rock auto images show the end as threaded instead of a T.

The main things you care about are the threads and the length. Wouldn't be surprised if you could grab one for just about any solid rear axle truck in the right length and have it fit.

Inline tube has a SS tube that is 24" long and is 3/8-24 on both the "T", and the connection to the frame hard line.

Buy a roll of tubing it comes with fittings. More than you will need. Make the lines your self. I just did my whole truck with this stuff. It works great and it's no problem double flaring it.

Just for clarification you are talking about the hose from the axle to the frame crossmember not the hard lines on the axle?

Yes, the rubber hose from the brake hard line at the rear of the frame to the rear end.

I seem to find the correct one and then it is only 18" long (same as stock). I should have something longer because of the 4" lift and the current tension on the old rubber line. When I would find a longer line with the correct configurations the vehicle description would say TJ/YJ/CJ. With those jeeps being listed as correct for the rear rubber hose I was worried about the threads being correct for an older Chevy Pick Up.

I have always found that going to NAPA worked well for trying to come up with brake hose modifications. My other suggestion would be to do a search of the 4x4 section for a longer hose post. I'm positive you're not the first one doing this.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
