Take a look at Steele Rubber. They will send you a catalog for just your truck. https://www.steelerubber.com/

Re: Hood to cowl weatherstrip
Make sure you order one that is folded over all the way instead of just bent over at a 90 degree angle. Even then all the ones I have installed push up the back of the hood when I close it

Re: Hood to cowl weatherstrip
I have a 90 degree unit. With an assistant I adjusted my hood hinges like 20 times (up and down) to get it right. It closes completely flat now. It wasnt easy but it was the right thing to do. Don't wish to do that again, but I'm sure I will have to at some point.

Re: Hood to cowl weatherstrip
You can also buy them directly from Soffseal.
https://www.soffseal.com/ss-9017 These are the only well made cowl seal available IMO. Those 90 degree bent seals most vendors sell are complete trash and shouldn’t even be on the market. |
