Suburban 58 clamshell door mechanism HELP

Hello. Im in my final days to finish my restoration. & i notice there is a retractors that located under side window. I think its for the cable that hold the lower back door. The issue is i never saw how its work. & the cable missing. For cables its ok i can make new one. But how its work?? Any 55-59 suburban owner here can help or post some pics that help me.
I tried searching but rare cars always rare to find many infos about it

personally never worked on a suburban but maybe you can find how it goes together in this assembly manual. may take some time to find the correct page but worth downloading onto your computer for reference.

Type 105-A window balance for 9 to 11 pounds per sash, this one from Pullmanmfg. There's a discussion about this on the stovebolt site.
