700r4 wiring with an LQ4 6.0

Hey all, swapping out the TH350 in my 72K10 for a 700R4 that has been rebuilt. Main reason is to get the engine 2" forward without changing transfer case position or driveshaft lengths, and the overdrive. I already have this tranny, know it's not the best for this application but it's been built heavy duty..
So my question is can I use the stock ECM to generate the lockup for the torque convertor? 700R4 has 3 wire plug. I modified my own harness if that matters..Thanks

I can't answer your question but how do you plan on connecting the TV cable to the throttle body?

The same way I connected the TH350 kick-down cable. I made an adapter plate to attach the kick-down bracket to the fuel rail. I'll use this for the TV cable as well.

Hopefully it has the correct geometry. Because that cable is not only for passing gear. It regulates pressure in transmission. Just get an early 4L60E. The 4L60E is an electronic 700-R4/4L60. 4 = 4 forward gears, L=ongitudinal, 60= torque rating, E= electronic. 93-95 because they will use the same 4 bolt transfer case to transmission adapter. For both you'll have to re-drill your 6.0 flexplate. No spacer it was bolted to a 4L80E

So if I do install a 4l60e my 2001 6.0 PCM will be able to control shifts? And I can remove the dakota digital pulse unit I was using with the TH350? What year did the rear adapter change for the NP 205 27 spline?
