1967 c20 ps gear box
what years can i use to change my manual to power steering gear box can you use something like a 1987 chevy 1500 power steering gear box

I don't know if the newer ones for '80-'87 will fit. I used a Lares 1075 3-1/4 turn for '67-'76, instead of the older 4-turn steering gear. I dimpled the frame so the gearbox would fit flush against the frame rail without spacers since '67s did not have the dimple in the frame for a power steering box.
According to RockAuto: Lares 1248 fits '77-79. Lares 1262 fits '80-87.
