Transmission X member- A/T vs Standard
Can anyone lookup or confirm if a 67-72 transmission x-member is the same for an A/T to a standard transmission? The x-member is coming out of a C20 A/T, going into a C30 with standard....any help is greatly appreciated....Keep safe....Thanks

Re: Transmission X member- A/T vs Standard
They are not. Manual trans 67-72 trucks have a bellhousing mount for the trans not a tailshaft crossmember.
If converting an auto to manual you can use the auto on the tailshaft of a manual trans but cannot put an auto on the manuals bell housing mounts.
