will this clutch fit? 3spd Manual Column shifting 71 C10

When I look for a clutch I get a couple of options that are different sizes, this one is 12 inch the other is like 11 7/8. Summit says both will fit my setup, but I dont want to get torn all the way down and find out I picked the wrong one. Anyone with experience that can guide me?

thanks

A 12" clutch should fit. That said you will never know until you pull it out since the flywheel is a service replacement item that could have been swapped to a car flywheel in the last 50 years. With the later block mounted starter the staggered bolt pattern would indicate the larger flywheel. In your case its probably still the truck parts since the starter has to match the flywheel.

Great, thanks! Yes everything so far on this truck has been bone stock. The only mods have really been mine. Headers due to cracked cast iron and brake booster / shoulder belts for safety.
