Re: new 65 c10

rebuild 350 with a turbo 400 transmission. I am going to clean it up and straighten it up and leave the body alone. Make it drive and redo the interior and bed floor new tires and such

Perfect plan!
Enjoy it. I love these trucks with their natural wear. Even a little banged up with that original color is sweet.

Re: new 65 c10

Ok guys I am going to be start to work on my truck very soon. One question is what color should I do the interior. I am going to leave the body alone other than straightening it up a bit. I was thinking about the original fawn with black carpet and black seat. What do you guys think?

Re: new 65 c10

I don't think you should waste the cash on rebuilding the trans if you are just going to drive it. Maybe sink some money into an overdrive. Turbo 400's use a good amount of HP to turn them. Unless you plan on doing a lot of towing.

Re: new 65 c10

I need to learn to spell. The 350 in it is rebuilt and he said the 400 trans. was good.
