Re: Late Model Tahoe as 68 Suburban
For the price, I'd rather just send my '72 Suburban to someone who knows what they're doing and have it fully restored/resto-modded

Re: Late Model Tahoe as 68 Suburban
I have no idea on price of that rig but I just bought a slightly wrecked 74 Suburban already LS swapped , just needs rear axle and Quarter panel repair that I plan to enjoy . Best of both worlds . And Im in the Burb at the right $$.

Re: Late Model Tahoe as 68 Suburban
I think if Chevy would have come out with this from the factory (but fixed the rear bumper) like the other retro style rides ... Camaro, Challenger, Mustang etc etc, I feel like it would be fairly well received. Maybe not to all the purists to our years of trucks, but the general public for sure.

Re: Late Model Tahoe as 68 Suburban
Ehhh.......I'm undecided. I'm sure the cost would kill it for me

Re: Late Model Tahoe as 68 Suburban
You're right. It needs a diamond tread step bumper to stick out about 10'' by 6'', and a big ball hitch, to get that realtime vintage feel.
