Re: Carpet

Are you looking for a cut and sewn carpet? Most are made by one company but you can choose the carpet quality.
I usually get molded carpets from https://www.stockinteriors.com/CSCar...677&ModelId=88

I like the look of the loop carpet, but you may want to get some samples first.

Probably just by the yard, pretty custom.

You can get carpet by the yard from Stock Interiors. https://www.stockinteriors.com/flatc...129&ModelId=88
Not sure how the shipping would be for that.

You may also try a local upholstery shop. Even if they're not doing the job, most will sell you some carpet.

Re: Carpet

I like the look of German square weave carpet. I used some Charcoal colored in my 48 Truck.

Here is a link
https://www.miamicorp.com/default.as...29&parent=2751

I'm using a similar carpet but in dark gray in my Suburban.

Re: Carpet

This outfit is about 150 miles from you but I'd bet that there is a similar one in a city closer to you. https://www.miamicorp.com/

I'd say that there several similar outfits in Ohio some within driving distance.

Re: Carpet

I would check online for an upholstery supply outfit nearby. the place where the upholstery shops buy their stuff from. they may sell to you direct or give direction on who from their dealer list would possibly have stock and sell to you and also who could possibly sew edging on or custom fit to your floor. are you using a felt underpad or some other type of underpad/sound absorber?

Re: Carpet

Felt works pretty good because it conforms to bumps and corners etc.

Re: Carpet

You may be able to buy the felt underpad at home depot.

Re: Carpet

You might pay a bit more per yard over online but wouldn't have shipping if you checked with some local top level auto upholstery shops to see they will sell you the carpet you need. Most probably have several styles and grades of black carpet on hand because it is probably the most popular. You might find a just right left over piece too. The local guy I deal with sold me a big piece of gray Berber style marine carpet a while back for my boat. Way more than I need but I got the whole piece for the price of what it would cost to do one area in the boat.

Re: Carpet

I suggest to go visit a local guy. Like said above you may get a deal on a remnant. Since the inside of your truck is pretty small compared to a lot of cars, and it's pretty flat really in comparison as well, the local guy may even do the install for cheap. You also get to see what you're paying for compared to buying online. Ask about unpad, and how the corners in your step areas will be done. Of course it is best to have the unit with you for them to see but if not possible then take lots of quality pics with dimensions so they can figure out quantities needed at.
