Wiper balance screws

Can anyone tell me if these are the correct screws for the wiper valance?

Re: Wiper balance screws

I think the factory ones were phillips head screws. That's what's on mine, but so many of them have rusted so bad, the head is almost gone!

I was thinking that too. I was not disciplined enough to store all the screws in Ziplocs. I do have some Phillip head screws , but I think the ones I tried were too small. They gotta be around here somewhere. Just thought I would see what everybody else has on their truck.

Re: Wiper balance screws

These are the ones you need. They say 67-72 Hood-to-cowl seal retainer screw set. But they are the same as the ones used on my 66

I just bought those and they are too small. Need the next size up in sheet metal screw.

Where exactly does the weatherstripping go? Is it attached to the valance or the hood?

So, I presume the notched part of the rubber goes under the wiper valance?

The notch is there to fit around the washer squirter nozzles.
