Dash Gauge ?
So I popped the dash gauge cluster out 63 C10 to clean up gas gauge was pegged full at all times even with no battery. Anyways I noticed this cluster has a couple extra lights. There is 1 on the left side of colum and 1 on the right,1 reads tandem lock and the other side had a warning ( cant remember now ) thought this might be a transplant from a big truck or were these used in all trucks.

Re: Dash Gauge ?
Probably Overspeed Warning? Was there actual bulbs and wiring to the sockets?

Re: Dash Gauge ?
My guess would be a transplant from a big truck. Both my clusters that came from 1/2 ton truck don't have those

Re: Dash Gauge ?
Good chance it was original to your truck. Just not wired up. Ive pulled them from trucks before that had them but not the wiring. Also have pulled them and the holes were taped over that looked factory. If only theses trucks could talk.

Re: Dash Gauge ?
Not lucky enough to find the paper build sheet in the seat back? Bought a 61 once and found a .38 revolver in the passenger side inside cab corner pocket. When I contacted the previous owner, he said "I have been looking for that pistol for years".

Re: Dash Gauge ?
Nope not that lucky ,the seat was chaged out a some time for a different bench seat with a custom 4x4 wood block on each side to get heigth. So the guy must of been short.

Re: Dash Gauge ?
There was a thread where someone change the overspeed light to a brake warning or similar. I have thought about doing that.
