stepside wheel well molding
So I noticed on my 74 Cheyenne Super 20 stepside, there are actually holes in the fender wells. Now, I know that because it's a stepside, the Super, which normally would have received body molding, didn't. But did it get front wheel well molding? I've read elsewhere that it didn't, but it was for a later model.
Anyone ever seen these? This truck is really stock, and while I guess it's not out of the question for someone along the way to have put these holes in the fenders, I'd be surprised if they weren't from the factory they way they look. Thoughts? |

Re: stepside wheel well molding
Just to be perfectly clear, from the factory:
Wheel opening moldings were not available on stepside Wheel opening moldings were available on Dooley, but fronts only https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/doc...olet-Truck.pdf K

Re: stepside wheel well molding
I'm pretty sure all front fenders regardless of trim level had holes for the trim.

69Tom - were you talking about the front fenders, or the rear stepside fenders having the holes in your original post? K
