I've been here longer than I thought...

I guess I joined on here in 2015 but have never posted anything. I've read and learned a ton in that time though.

I have a 1970 C10 that my dad bought in 1982. I was brought home from the hospital in it after being born (1986), learned how to drive in it, wrecked it when I was 16 or 17, fixed it, and finally talked my dad out of it in 2015 to be able to use it in my wedding.

I had to literally drag it out of where it had been parked due to the brakes being locked up. I basically lived under it for about 4 months leading up to the wedding getting it going again.

And then, 30 years almost to the day from me coming home in it, my wife and I brought our 1st daughter home from the hospital in it.

Needless to say its got a little bit of sentimental value to me. I've been collecting parts to redo it since I've owned it. Lots of body panels (its originally a Florida truck so its a little crusty), there's a No Limit Engineering 4 link rear, 9" full floater rear, a T101 4 speed dogbox trans, and a bunch of random other stuff.

I'm sure I'll be pulling much more knowledge off of here as I dig a little deeper into this thing in the future. Thanks for all the awesome threads on here.

Brian
