Broken screw for cab light
Hi guys
I was putting new cab lights on my 1979 gmc dually and one of the screws broke and I can’t get it out. I have tried to drill it out but no luck drilling through the screw. What should I do now? I mounted the lights but it won’t be good with one screw missing. Any ideas? Thanks Eric |

Re: Broken screw for cab light
Try a spring loaded punch.
To center punch a hole in the exact center of the screw. Link for example of punch:https://www.harborfreight.com/spring...0bb1f1b09a1089 Then use a left handed drill to try to reverse the screw out. Left handed drill set link:https://www.amazon.com/ATD-Tools-921...3443549&sr=8-5 Hopefully the left handed drill will grab the screw and pull it out for you. .
