Which 4L80E Contoller
Seems to be a lot of options in controllers for electronically shifted transmissions out there. I just wanted to know what people's opinions are? I will be using a Holley Sniper EFI and a Dakota Digital RTX cluster. TIA

Re: Which 4L80E Contoller
I have not done it, but my understanding is that the 4L80E behind the 80s/90s diesels has a stand-alone type controller.

Re: Which 4L80E Contoller
I plan on using the Compushift sport controller with a carb and MSD ignition. It is recommended by GearStar and B&M for my (B&M rebuilt) 4L80, and uses a smartphone app to program rather than a standalone touch controller. With that said, I imagine at this point most aftermarket controllers have their bugs worked out so I’m sure any of them will work fine.

Posted via Mobile Device. I was going to use the Holley Sniper EFI with the US Shift Transmission Controller, friend of a friend has the US Shift controller with a carb and has great results with it. Thanks
