Can 75-87 C20 lower control arms be used in my 67 C10 if I change the ball joint?

My left front lower control arm has a dent with a slight bow; the truck drove fine, but I'm not sure if it should be reused. I will be adding 71-72 disc brakes, and would be changing the ball joint and control arm shaft.

I found dorman and delco lower control arms available on-line. Can these be used on my 67 C10 1/2 ton if I change the ball joint? Will the 67 ball joint press into the c20 arm? Will I need to change the U bolts that mount the control arm?

EDIT: After further research, it looks like the C10 and C20 have different lower ball joint hole sizes, but use the same control arm shafts.

Thank you for the link. I actually used that thread while gather pieces for the 71/72 disc conversion onto my 67. I got the correct 67 and 72 outer tie rods and adapter sleeve, and 71/72 C10 ball joints.

From a link in your linked thread:

Lower Ball Joint:
Grouped by Differences:
C10
*60-62
*63-70
*71-87
C20
*71-87

Control Arm Upper Cross Shafts:
Grouped by Differences:
C10
*60-62
*63-72
*73-87
C20
*63-87

Control Arm Lower Cross Shafts:
Grouped by Differences:
C10
*60-62
*63-72
*73-87
C20
*67-86

I went to rock auto, and the lower control arm shaft kits were the same p/n for 72 C10 and 72 & 75 C20, which should make them OK for my 67's crossmember's lower control arm U bolt saddles.

This leaves the ball joint as the variable, because C10 and c20 are different p/ns.

However, if 67-72 C10 and C20 control arms are the same, the replacement arms should work, and let me install a 71-72 C10 ball joint.

Also, are Dorman 13503 the correct replacement U Bolts?

Thank you. Found some on Rock Auto for a few bucks less than Summit. Go to the part number tab and enter 13503. They also had the Dorman 618102 Bearing Dust Caps...

I always check Auto zone, and the rest of the locals and find that Rock Auto almost always beats them even with shipping.

I would trust that dented control arm over any Chinese sourced control arm made of recycled steel and poor quality control. The factory steel is so much stronger than any cheap aftermarket copy. That dent could be straightened if it bothers you.
