60/66 trucks at Vintiques NW nats Yakima wa

I decided to do something different this time and post photos of different body styles in the groups that they fit in rather than stick all my photos in one thread.
Here are the 60/66 trucks that I took photos of yesterday at the Vintiques of Yakima North West Nationals in Yakima Wa. Friday pickings were rather sparse as a lot of folks were out cruising around the area or hadn't got to the show yet and this year the heat and smoke may keep numbers down.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

This one has a lot of impressive work on it. Quite a beast. I have no idea what engine it had in it.
Not many 60/66 there yesterday but worth sharing.

All 4 in the first post look to be 1960 trucks. Thanks for the pics!

Looks to be just your basic 5.3 swap

Re: 60/66 trucks at Vintiques NW nats Yakima wa

By the time I got to that truck I was pretty well beyond tired. I didn't study the engine compartment very well.

Hot August nights and Bonneville Speedweek are going on this weekend and that draws a lot of folks out of the PNW. That and there was a big Traditional hot rod and custom show in Pendleton last week that not only took a number of folks August supply of Fun tickets but was so hot (107 degrees) that I think many may have stayed home this weekend.
