Re: Erik Hickey
Just heard that too. Tragic. His name is Erik Heeres, and I believe he just went by Erik Hickey for Facebook Marketplace association with Hickey products.

Re: Erik Hickey
Is this the fellow who started out here reproducing Hickey Enterprise parts then disappeared? Whoever he is I'm sorry to hear he has passed.

Re: Erik Hickey
I believe that’s who you are referring to. There were various rumors so anyone who knows more please correct me, but I think he owned whatever business Hickey Enterprises had evolved into, and that is when he was most active on the forum (I believe as midunes), but the business got caught up in a divorce. It was rumored his ex was then running the eBay business at least for a while, then at some point he started selling some NOS, used and new Hickey parts (not sure if that fits definition of a “reproduction”) on the forum, and eBay (as efromthed), and Facebook (as Erik Hickey).

Re: Erik Hickey
All the posts are correct. He was middunes on here and sold on eBay as efromed. I butted heads with him several times but am truly sorry he died and had actually just broke down and ordered my first repro part from him. I was in the minority thinking repro parts were hurting the value of the original hickey stuff. he was providing a service that many truck guys appreciated. Rip Erik
