Thought I would share something I stumbled across... billet square body steering wheel... enjoy

Seen these before. Not a fan of the look. Amazes me someone can go through the trouble of designing and building these but no one can reproduce originals

Yeah I’m not a fan of that either. One of the things I enjoy the most about driving old vehicles is the feel of everything. Including the thin wheel with little nubs on the back for your fingers to grip. It’s the tactile bliss modern steering wheels can’t provide. If I want a modern feel, I’ll drive my modern car.

I like it, particularly when wrapped in leather. Only an additional $279!

There is absolutely no way I would buy one, but it would look good on some builds. Got to respect the craftmanship.

There's still too many good condition steering wheels out there. When the supply dries up a little, the aftermarket will likely step up to fill the hole. It's all about supply and demand, and what's profitable to produce.

This is also the reason there's no brand new aftermarket steel squarebody cabs available yet. Once the supply of rebuildable cabs dwindles a bit, someone will start stamping out new ones.

You’d be lucky to find a great condition 73-77 steering wheel. Yet they produce the 78-80 steering wheels. I guarantee you the design and manufacturing of that Aluminum steering wheel is just as much if not more than reproducing the original
