if he uses it for his truck i imagine its gonna be very mild because hes a sissy and doesnt want the HP of his 408 for a daily driver

hehe, i wish i was building it and putting it in my truck, but jeff nailed it. i'm making it into a coffee table. i bought it from ratrod67 today for 20 bucks. theres a small crack in the side from it breaking a rod in half on no2.

it was good to meet you today too scot, i still can't get over your 'vert that thing is so clean!

I got another block if someone wants it for $20. It's a 305. Also got a couple cranks, 1 cracked double hump head. Might be able to round up some pistons and rods too. Nothing really worth fixing but maybe for some cool Monster House type stuff.

coffee table, hrm. thats a good idea.. what do you do just have a peice of glass made for it? Anyone have any pix of one? Im seriously considering.. I know Ive got access to a few junk blocks.. unfortunately not ALUMINUM :/ but I think it would be a worthwhile investment.. tear down the block and have it shot peened at the machinist.. couldnt cost too much.. then it would look like new.. some clearcoat (or not?) and a peice of glass to throw on top.. COOL.

How about making one that is like a cut away view and the pistons that are seen move up and down on a electric type motor?? That would be cool!!
