Searched but just want clarification 4wd conversion

Doing a 2wd swap into a 4x4 frame.

As I understand it, almost anything 73-87 2wd will fit with minor modifications.

2wd pickup gmc/chevy, blazer(jimmy), burb.

I'm also reading that up to 91 blazer/burb will also work?

Want to do the front crossmember and the rear axle, eventually get an LS into it, so LS adapter plates for whatever front crossmember I get and trans mount.

I did search, there was a post that basically confirmed this, but I wanted to make sure, and also see if I can go up to 91 blazer/burb front and rear ends.

Thanks all.
