Restore a CST horn button?
I checked through the past threads, but found nothing on it. Has anyone restored or tried to restore the chrome ring on a CST horn button?

Re: Restore a CST horn button?
I have not myself but I have heard of others doing it. Disassembly is tricky because the metal tabs are brittle and hard to grip.

Re: Restore a CST horn button?
I haven't disassembled on but I've seen others do it. I have a GMC Super Custom horn cap that is modified to for a '67 Impala N38 steering wheel. The center is reduced to fit in the car's chrome ring. So if that can be done...
