66 Grill and or Repop grill questions

I have a 66 i am building and i have the OEM grill that has been powder coated silver. The grill is in perfect condition with no dents, dings etc..there are a cpl small rub marks on the powder coating from transport when i bought the project...so...here is my delima...I am wanting a chrome grill.. I am thinking about selling this grill and matching bezels and picking up a chrome grill...I would imagine it would have to be a repop as you dont see OEMs in perfect shape that are affordable...Do the repop grills fit ok? What is the going rate on a powder coated OEM that is in perfect shape?

You could have the powdercoating removed, and then get it chromed.

Another option is they're reproducing the anodized aluminum grills. I just got mine in, it's just the aluminum outer portion so you'll have to swap out the mounts and supports. The reproduced chrome grills used to have a reputation of rusting after a few years, don't know if that's still an issue. The best price I got was from classicparts.com.
