a little dash gauge/bulb help

Hello all,

I received the LMC tach conversion and I have to say I am impressed. It felt $$$ to buy but it appears to have everything and feels decent.

That said, I wasn't paying enough attention removing my old cluster and have a question.

What is the wire going coming off the one bulb socket and where should it go? The wire is cut and has not been hooked up. It is the socket between the OE fuel and speedo.

also, there is one socket that is wired to the harness. It is brown and white and to the best of my ability and looking at my diagrams it is for the 4wd indicator??? yes??

All of the bulb sockets on the printed panel have contact so i do not want to fry anything.

Thanks,
Chris

Re: a little dash gauge/bulb help

On many years of clusters, one bulb socket had a fiber optic cable that came off the socket and went, IIRC, to the ash tray to provide light there. At first glance, it does look like a smooth cut wire. There should be a small clip on the cut end that attaches to where it goes.

No clue on the brown/white wire socket.

Here you go! Brown/white wired one goes to the location under the Speedo. Literally just did this conversion two months ago. I agree that kit is impressive compared to most aftermarket parts.
