Seat foam
I thought I saw once where you could buy just a piece of the full foam seat bottom to replace the drivers side but I can't find it now. Anyone know if someone still sells one?

Re: Seat foam
I bought mine from PICKMUP (Frank) here on the board. I have no idea if he has any in stock or if he ships something that large. Worth shooting him a PM or a call during business hours.
I copy and pasted the info he has in all of his threads ... Email: frankeham@comcast.net Phone: 360-956-7170

Re: Seat foam
Redneck,
I just redid the drivers side of my seat. I was going to post the process after I put the completed seat back in the truck. Here are a couple of pictures. I bought a 6"x22"x16" piece of foam from the Foam Factory for $28. I also bought a 12' piece of 1" Fiberfill for $12. I bought the Cushion Lux High Quality foam which is too firm so you should go down to a lower level of foam. As you can see by the pictures I cut out a 16" section of the original seat and used spray adhesive to glue the new section on. Trimming it down took some time, the 3rd picture shows as I was trimming it down. After that I put the 1" poly foam over the top and put the seat cover back on. It took the better part of a day and cost me less that $75. I would recommend buying a wider piece of foam, 16" puts the seam in the middle of your butt. I think 24" would be better. Terry |

Re: Seat foam
Looks good. What is the "fiber fill" and why did you add it?

Re: Seat foam
Its just a really soft 1" foam. I was using my seat cover over which was a little loose and wrinkled in spots. The poly foam just added a little extra and made everything fit nice and tight.
