Anybody seen this patch panel?
Hey guys. I'm replacing my cab corners on the 67 and found the piece at the rear of the cab on the bottom is rotted....see pic. Does anyone make a patch panel for it? I might can cut a piece off another cab if not.

Re: Anybody seen this patch panel?
Years ago when I was doing most of the metal work to my ‘57 that part of the back of the cab was rusted out pretty bad. I bent a replacement out of sheet metal on a brake. Worked perfect and you can’t tell it’s not original to this day. I’ve not seen that part reproduced for the 67-72’s.

Re: Anybody seen this patch panel?
I haven't seen a patch panel for that area. But I have seen the whole back cab panel is available. Cheapest would be to make your own followed by cut out section from a donor cab.

Re: Anybody seen this patch panel?
The short is yes someone is making a piece. You could cut out a piece and take it to a sheet metal shop and they could probably make you one.
I use it in this video at about the 10:20-11 minute mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHYa...omRestorations https://kaminskichassisfab.com/store...ab-pinch-panel $40. I do not receive any $ from referring them. I've used them on two cabs. They were making the 60-66 rear seam, I sent them a template and they have been selling the 67-72 panel since.
