GMC Hotchkis front coil spring question

I got a set of 4” coil springs off a guy from a c10 group and have a fitment question. Before we get there yes I know there’s a lot of people that would never do a 4 inch drop in just a spring in the front and that’s OK. I’m gonna try it out anyways.

Part # is 19830390. I have a GMC with leaf springs in the rear. Online it says the springs are for 67 to 72 trucks with coils in the rear only. I am just replacing the front with these 4” drop springs. I’m doing a flip kit in the rear. Why would it matter what the rear springs are if these are front springs?

Re: GMC Hotchkis front coil spring question

OK I called tech-support and they said it’s an error in their note and they should fit fine. Haha
