87 C10 thread
Decided to make this thread to keep track of my trucks progress I bought it September 2019 and is my current daily driver
-5.3 lm7swap -vintage air -Dakota digital RTX -updated suspension To do list -qa coil overs in front/ lowering shocks in rear (or GSI coil over backhalf) -BTR cam swap -install interior from USA1 (if it ever comes, ordered 2/2021) -paint correction with ceramic coating Last edited by C10Toro; 04-16-2022 at 06:16 PM. |

I'm looking for info on legit swaps. I know there is a thread about a k5 but I like to see what others have had to do as well. I'm trying to pick up a 87 R10 from a friend and Co sodering a 5.3 swap but want to know what I'm getting into to be legal. I'm not interested in doing hot smog every 2 years.

That's correct and that's why I asked if yours was a legal swap but sounds like it's not quite legal.

The USA1 door panels ordered 2/2021 finally came in they look great I just want to killmat or dynamat the doors before install
