Sanding Wood Bed ?
I suspect this is oak that has had a Urethane of some type put on it and now showing signs of age
My intent is to sand it and then just oil it, likely linseed oil pending more 411 I assume removing all boards to sand is the proper way...although masking off the rails is a thought. Hardware is in good shape so I would not expect fighting old, rusted fasteners So my ? is has anyone sanded successfully without FU trim or panels without removing the boards?? Before this gets any more "wood patina" my thought is sooner vs later is better. The truck is mostly garaged but does do driveway time when I rotate my hobby cars |

Re: Sanding Wood Bed ?
You will get a Better finished look if you remove the boards.
Since the hardware is probably in good shape. This would be my approach to this project. Nice looking truck.
