Help 67-72 replacement parts Suppliers?
I need to replace a lot of old worn out parts on my 67 which has been sitting in my garage for like 15 years. I need window regulators, door latches, cranks, handles, dome light, mirrors etc. I have been looking at Classic Industries, LMC, Brothers etc. but I am not sure who sells the better quality made parts. I saw some reviews for Classic Industries and LMC and they were not great.
Can you guys please help point me in the right direction on suppliers that I will not regret buying from? Thanks |

Those aren't bad places to shop from, they are just hit and miss since they are distributors and not manufacturers. My new personal favourite is Classic Parts though. I like what I bought from them and their service is great.

Re: Help 67-72 replacement parts Suppliers?
I suggest GMC Pauls. They've already done the homework and know what parts are good, and they make an effort to not carry stuff that's crud. If GMC Pauls doesn't sell it, that may mean that particular part doesn't have any good reproduction manufacturers so it is time to look at better-than-yours used parts from here in the forum in the parts section, or ask here about the specific parts you're wondering about, and find out what people are buying and using. Buying a premium membership here allows you to post want-to-buy ads, it is one of the primary reasons I have a membership.

They called me to get my credit card number since it was "international". The lady on the phone was very nice and the stuff arrived fairly quickly. I think shipping was actual cost, without any handling charges. They have a few things that no one carries - so far as I can tell - so it is worth checking out their entire catalogue. I always go to Scotts Super Trucks with a list of stuff I need and whatever Scott didn't have, I order online. There is lots of stuff from GMC Pauls I would like to get ^^^ but they will not ship to Canada at all.

Also: Other vendors who do business right here on the forum also have good reputations, although I don't have specific experience with every one of them. Check out the vendors marketplace section of this forum at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...play.php?f=195
I have purchased one item from MCB Matt and had good experience, and although I don't have specific experience with Classic Heartbeat there is a good following and discussion here on the forum so I will probably buy from him in the future. |

Classic Heartbeat (Wes) gets a thumbs up from me also.
For used parts Classic Bowties (Mel) gets my thumbs up too. Mel is a member here as is Wes.
