I'd love to get one of those.

There was a guy at the Pomona swap meet that was selling his own design. They looked really nice. It was a complete dash replacement. He also made a glove box door that looked very similar.

Here's his contact info:
J&J Engineering
Javier Sanchez
115 East St. Joseph Street
Arcadia, CA 91006
626-446-2368

this might give you a slightly different option. They had lines ball- milled in too. He might be able to send you a picture.

If you are able to get him to send you a picture, you should post it here so we can all see it.

Anybody seen these yet? Pretty trick and a good price, IMHO. I'll probably pick one up. Oh, and no... I'm not affiliated in any way.

Is there anyone else out there like me that wants the aftermarket guages (and the confidence they instill) but doesn't care for the panels w/all the ball milling, designs, & extras?

I would love a panel thats just like the original but w/a smaller 2 5/8" hole between the 5" holes. Plain & flat so I can make it match my glove box door. The only machining I would want is to make it have the same lip/edge, similar like what surrounds the original guage panels.

I did like the detail of the descriptions etched in, on the one panel that's listed on E-Bay.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

scoti, if that is what u are wanting u could do like xxl did http://www.myoldtruck.com/forums/sho...5&pagenumber=3
he made his out of a glovebox and you could easily mount aftermarket gauges in the custom made holes...
