roll bar mounting

Where do your aftermarket or delaer installed roll bars mount on rear points? Ontop of fenders tubs or behind? I'm almost certain the smittybuilt bar mounts to floor behind wheel tub but how about the early ones?

Anyone know good supplier for smittybuilt roll bar and front cage kit?

I called smitybilt and they told me they do not make the roll bar for these years anymore...you can buy the cage kit though.

My stock roll bar mounts on the forward slant of the wheel well, but thought there were a couple styles of stock bars and the other style mounts on top of the wheel well. Hope I'm remembering correctly.

pictures?

Dan do you have a picture or 2 to post or email? If I'm reading it right the distance between front hoop and rear down points are not too far apart on yours.

My FACTORY rollbar mounted behind the wheelwells, but was bent up slightly to follow the wheelwell; 2 bolts in the floor and 2 in the well. I shortened it to mount on top of the well, it gave me room for the spare behind the well.
