what to do?
okay heres the story i was given a 4x4 frame about a year ago it was a 72 suburban at one time but the po cut off the roof behind the drivers seat the frame still has the axles, front clip, and reminants of the body. my idea was to build up a lwb truck on the frame but while i was looking at suburban production numbers i realized that there wernt many k10 burbs made. my question is wether i should go with my original idea or try to find a burb body to put on the frame?

I'd take a burb over a pickup anytime. Find a descent burb body and bring it back to life with a 10inch lift, 40's, 454, killer stereo, and.............the list can go on and on

ok i will build the burb. i just thought i would seek the opinions of the great members of this board. i figure if i can get a new body i can bring this burb back from the dead and concitering that i have the glove box door, vin tag, and body tags i can bring back to its original glory (with quite a few mods)

i say burb too, it might be hard to find just a body but you could probably find a 2wd easy. maybe even one with front and rear a/c...hmm. anyway, what kinda options does this thing got? anything cool like tilt or towhooks?

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to make a extended cab short bed truck by cutting the back of the suburban floor out behind the rear seat and then cutting the back off a cab along with its roof and graft it on.

Extended cab idea sounds the best to me. All the modern goodies with a great body style.

theres not enough left of the body to do this the roof is completly chopped off behind the front seats. and the door pillars have been cut through. i dont care to chop up another burb to build a extended cab.
i think i will stick to a burb build up and try find a high hump burb body.
