Oil Pressure Switch Sensor wires
Hello,
Are these for Oil Pressure Switch Sensors? One of them is two prong, the other one prong. They are dangling free down by the starter. Would the factory have run both light, and gauge wires? My truck came with the indicator light. This is on the 250 Inline 6. [IMG][/IMG] |

Re: Oil Pressure Switch Sensor wires
If you have or had an electric choke, the oil pressure sender normally had two connections. One for the sender and the second from a simple on/off pressure switch that is on when the engine has oil pressure - to keep the choke heater from draining the battery if someone turns the key to ignition but doesn't start the vehicle.
The single wire connector might be a temperature sender wire. |

Cool, I didn't see a place for the Temp sending unit. Wasn't sure if it connected somewhere else. Maybe a previous owner routed it through the Loom to hide it?
